ORIGINAL SEAGULLS HONORED

Original Seagull Wrestling Club members George Chew and the late Johnny Martin were inducted into the South Jersey Wrestling Hall of Fame.

George was an NJSIAA State Champion two time place winner and Freestyle All American at Cumberland High School. Collegiately, George wrestled at The University of Indiana and was a National Qualifier.

Johnny was also an NJSIAA State Champion winning at 129lbs in 1992. Johnny was a Two Time Cadet Greco National Champion and a Cadet Freestyle Finalist. Johnny was also a Freestyle National Finalist in 1991. Johnny wrestled at Oklahoma State and Clarion University.
